Product Description
Women's Running is the only women's-specific running magazine. As the number of female runners exploded over the past few years, interest in women's-specific running information also grew. Women's Running covers all aspects of the running lifestyle. The Women's Running mission is simple: to encourage women to train healthfully, participate in active travel, adopt healthy nutrition habits, and to nourish their minds as well as their bodies.

3 out of 5 stars Good idea, in theory   June 23, 2010

Like many active women out there, I was excited to discover a magazine dedicated to women runners. I read the first few issues eagerly...but then started to notice that the information presented isn't that much different from what you'd find in other running magazines. The only real difference is that this magazine spends less space talking about running and more space talking about beauty & fashion. I'm sorry, but I didn't buy this magazine to learn how to treat ingrown hairs or do an at-home-day-spa. I wanted to read about running and runners like me. If that's you, too, save your money and time!

5 out of 5 stars FINALLY a running magazine that focus' on women   January 10, 2010

Most runner's magazines are geared towards HIGHLY competative people (male & female). This is the first time that I have seen something that actually focuses exclusively on women - and doesn't make you think your personal running goals are less than significant because your not running an 8-minute mile. But offers great advice on how to get to that 8-minute mile, 5k, 10k, 15k, 1/2 marathon or full marathon. The clothing and accessories recommended/reviewed are made for women - another fantastic feature. I can't say enough about what a great magazine this is for a beginner, advanced, or intermediate runner.

1 out of 5 stars Her Sports transitioning into Women's Running... yuck   February 12, 2009

Good thing I read the reviews... I have no desire whatsoever to purchase a Women's Running magazine (no high-impact for me!). I wonder why they believe more women would purchase the magazine that way? Shouldn't running be included in a well-rounded fitness magazine instead? Too bad.

According to their site -- hersports -- this magazine is now "Women's Running." I don't want a running magazine. I want climbing, snowboarding, hiking and biking, too. Sad to see the change.

I really enjoy this magazine! I got a subscription for myself and as a gift. The magazine covers a wide variety of topics.
