This is a fantastic running shoe and needs no break in time whatsoever. It is extremely lightweight, made of a breathable mesh material. Excellent arch support, stability, cushioning and a roomy toe box. This is probably my 5th or 6 pair of Pro Grid Guide 2s. They are perfect for me, a mild overpronator, and fit perfectly right out of the box and out for a 5 mile run or long distance speed walk. No blisters, discomfort, or pain. I love these shoes!

I love this running shoe! I have three pairs of them and I like them so much I might buy more since they are last years model. I have run a 1/2 marathon in them and a triathlon sprint, and they have still held up. I am very happy with my purchase.

I started cross country running after my 2nd kid, in January 2010 and I swear Saucony's are the only shoes that don't make my calves hurt. I got fitted at Road runner sports but new shoes are so expensive there so thought I'd look on Amazon. Anything less than $100 is STEAL for these shoes. Love them, gonna wear them out, and probably buy the same pair again =) Its almost time...

The only reason I gave the shoe a 4 star rating instead of 5 star is because the "wide width - D" size I ordered is not quite as wide as some of the other saucony running shoes. However, they provide great support, let your feet breathe, and look nice. I use them for powerwalking.
