Amazon.com Product Description You asked for it – you got it: the muscle-toning shoe you can wear while running, training and working out. Compared to a traditional running shoe, RunTone, a close cousin to our EasyTone shoe, encourages more activation in key leg muscles like the calves and quads and reduces overall body stress.

Love these shoes! September 2, 2010 Amy Jane (Mechanicsburg, PA) I have been shopping around for the perfect pair of running shoes for several years now. I always reverted back to my old pair (about 7 yrs. old now) because I would buy a pair of shoes, run several times, and find that they caused pain or blisters that did not go away even after giving them some break-in time. I always liked Reebok and these shoes are just what I was looking for. They have excellent arch support, breathe very well (the mesh is practically see-through it's so thin), and feel like I'm running on a cloud. I will say I did not buy these for the toning part. I get enough toning from running on uneven surfaces, I don't know that it would make much difference unless you run on a treadmill or very flat, even surfaces. However, I have only used them on 3 of my runs so far, clocking about 13 miles so far on them, so who knows, maybe I'll notice extra toning later on. No blisters, no pain, and my back doesn't ache after my runs anymore! I love them!
Really Worked My Legs! August 25, 2010 E. Rose (San Diego, CA) I go to classes at the gym 6 days a week, and at tonight's boot camp class, I wore my new RunTones for the first time. Within the first 10 minutes of cardio (jumping jacks, high knees, etc.) I was DEFINITELY feeling it in my legs - much more so than usual! When the 60 minutes class was over, my legs felt a lot more fatigued than usual. I'll see if they're sore at all tomorrow... But so far, these shoes definitely seem to do what they claim!
good shoes August 20, 2010 cfn I've had the RunTones for about 3 months and run 3 times a week. They are super comfortable and keep my knee from hurting (I tore my ACL when I was in high school). I don't really notice whether or not they are helping me to tone any faster than from normal running, which is why I am giving them 4 stars. If you plan to order them on Amazon, I would suggest going to a shoe store for a fitting. I had to go up a whole size.
Running with Reebok August 11, 2010 SAMUEL M. ZAGHA 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had previously purchased the Reebok Walktone sneakers and loved them.. then the Runtone came out.. and I had to have them. I absolutley feel the difference after walking/running in these sneakers. My legs feels as though they've gotten a good workout. balance/stability is great.. they're very comfortable to wear.
Very disappointed in Reebok, not the shoe! July 5, 2010 Karina Abernathy (Los Angeles, CA) 0 out of 63 found this review helpful
First of all let me explain that I do not own this shoe, what I do own is multiple pairs of 10 to 15 year Reebok DMX shoes with those same "balance Pods". They were wonderful shoes but do to child birth...THEY DON"T FIT ANYMORE! It was the same concept but like most companies do, they take a product away and bring it back as something else..Frito Lay has done this a lot over the last few decades. I would get these shoes dirt cheap on clearance at Foot Locker or Macy's. This particular line of DMX's were a lot cuter than the easy tones as well. I am sure it is a wonderful shoe but I just can't pay that much for a shoe and they are just not that cute. Overall I just think I am disappointed Reebok not continuing that type of DMX line. I think I will be squeezing my 7.5 foot back into my 6.5 shoe. I wish someone would have told me the truth about foot growth and pregnancy! LOL! Ladies, and future buyers, enjoy the shoe. I am sure it is a wonderful shoe. If you can afford the shoe then by all means for it.
